REGISTRATION INFORMATION for SY 2017-2018:

Current 5th graders who live in our district and attend one of our 6 feeder schools (Jefferson Kahala, Liholiho, Waialae, Waikiki, and Wilson Elementary School) are now registering for 6th grade. Registration materials are being passed out and collected by the elementary schools and sent to Kaimuki Middle School in December.

Current 5th graders who live in our district but do not attend one of our feeder schools will be getting registration materials and instructions from their elementary school in January. Copies of proof of residency (mortgage papers or lease agreements along with utility bills in your name to that address) are required as well.

Current 6th and 7th graders at Kaimuki Middle School will be registering for their next grade levels in mid December.  Materials will be passed out through homerooms. Registration cards are due back to their homeroom teachers by Friday, December 16, 2016.

Current 6th and 7th graders who live in our district but do not currently attend Kaimuki Middle School but plan to do so next school year may pick up registration materials in January. Please be prepared to show proof of residency (mortgage papers or lease agreements along with utility bills in your name to that address).

Current 8th graders will be registering for high school in December. Materials for Honolulu District high schools will be passed out and need to be turned in to their Homeroom Teachers by Friday, December 16, 2016. Students are required to register for the high school in their area according to home address. If you are planning on applying for a GE (Geographic Exception) you still need to register at your home school. If/when your GE is granted, you will receive registration materials for that school. Failure to do so, may result in unwanted classes, and/or unfilled requirements for high school graduation. Students whose home school is outside of the Honolulu District will get a release packet on the last day of school in May and need to register at their home school.
